Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIPJ Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIPJ data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LIPJ Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIPJ expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC and UCEC are the cancer types where LIPJ Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
