Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIPH Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LIPH data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher LIPH Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIPH expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
BLCA, ESCA, and UCS are the cancer types where LIPH Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
