Across TCGA patient cohorts, LIPE mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 32 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible LIPE-associated genes across cancer lineages are MIG-6, EGFR_pY1068, and Caspase-7-cleavedD198. Each is linked with LIPE in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both LIPE-to-partner and partner-to-LIPE results are reported.
