Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC02349 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC02349’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in thyroid carcinoma (THCA), where LINC02349 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC02349 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as UCEC and KIRC show the opposite, repressed pattern.

THCA, UCEC, and KIRC are the cancer types where LINC02349 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
