Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC01945 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC01945’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where LINC01945 RNA is repressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC01945 is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as LUAD and LUSC show the opposite, repressed pattern.
LUAD, LUSC, and STAD are the cancer types where LINC01945 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
