Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00477 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 3 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LINC00477’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), where LINC00477 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LINC00477 is over-expressed in tumor.

KIRC, ESCA, and LUAD are the cancer types where LINC00477 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
