Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LINC00251 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LINC00251 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LINC00251 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LINC00251 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD and DLBC show a favorable association.

SKCM, KIRP, and STAD are the cancer types where LINC00251 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
