Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIN28B-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LIN28B-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney renal papillary cell carcinoma (KIRP), where higher LIN28B-AS1 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIN28B-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and UVM show a favorable association.

KIRP, MESO, and UCS are the cancer types where LIN28B-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
