Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LIMD1-AS1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 24 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LIMD1-AS1 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in skin cutaneous melanoma (SKCM), where higher LIMD1-AS1 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LIMD1-AS1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and MESO show a favorable association.

SKCM, MESO, and BRCA are the cancer types where LIMD1-AS1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
