Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LGMN Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LGMN data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in prostate adenocarcinoma (PRAD), where higher LGMN Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LGMN expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM show a favorable association.
PRAD, SKCM, and STAD are the cancer types where LGMN Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
