Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LFNG Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LFNG data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LFNG Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LFNG expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
HNSC, COAD, and LIHC are the cancer types where LFNG Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
