Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LEXM Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LEXM data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in sarcoma (SARC), where higher LEXM Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LEXM expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as BLCA show a favorable association.
SARC, LIHC, and BLCA are the cancer types where LEXM Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
