Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LDHC Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LDHC data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher LDHC Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LDHC expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LUAD show a favorable association.
LUSC, LGG, and UCEC are the cancer types where LDHC Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
