Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LDHAL6FP RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 5 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of LDHAL6FP’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where LDHAL6FP RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types LDHAL6FP is over-expressed in tumor, although a few such as THCA show the opposite, repressed pattern.
READ, HNSC, and THCA are the cancer types where LDHAL6FP tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
