Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCE5A RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LCE5A data layer compared with 3 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in cholangiocarcinoma (CHOL), where higher LCE5A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCE5A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LGG and SARC show a favorable association.

CHOL, BRCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where LCE5A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
