Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCE3D RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LCE3D data layer compared with 2 for mutation status and 2 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher LCE3D RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCE3D expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LIHC show a favorable association.

BLCA, KIRP, and KICH are the cancer types where LCE3D RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
