Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCE2C RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LCE2C data layer compared with 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher LCE2C RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCE2C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as THCA and HNSC show a favorable association.
BLCA, LIHC, and SKCM are the cancer types where LCE2C RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
