Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCE2A Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LCE2A data layer compared with 11 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher LCE2A Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCE2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and LGG are the cancer types where LCE2A Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
