Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LCA5L RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated LCA5L data layer compared with 4 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in brain lower grade glioma (LGG), where higher LCA5L RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LCA5L expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BRCA show a favorable association.

LGG, CHOL, and BLCA are the cancer types where LCA5L RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
