Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, LAMC1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated LAMC1 data layer compared with 29 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher LAMC1 Mutation is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated LAMC1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where LAMC1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
