Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KYNU Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KYNU data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher KYNU Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KYNU expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LIHC, LUAD, and UCEC are the cancer types where KYNU Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
