Across TCGA patient cohorts, KYNU mutation is significantly associated with the total protein of many other genes, with 45 significant associations in total. UCEC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KYNU-associated genes across cancer lineages are Caspase-7-cleavedD198, FASN, and FOXO3a_pS318_S321. Each is linked with KYNU in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KYNU-to-partner and partner-to-KYNU results are reported.
