Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP9-12P RNA is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP9-12P data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher KRTAP9-12P RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP9-12P expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCS and CESC show a favorable association.

THYM, LIHC, and KICH are the cancer types where KRTAP9-12P RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
