Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP5-7 RNA is linked to patient survival in 23 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP5-7 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KRTAP5-7 RNA is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP5-7 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and BLCA show a favorable association.

HNSC, BLCA, and UCEC are the cancer types where KRTAP5-7 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
