Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP5-5 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP5-5 data layer compared with 16 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA), where higher KRTAP5-5 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP5-5 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

BLCA, COAD, and OV are the cancer types where KRTAP5-5 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
