Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP4-6 RNA is linked to patient survival in 15 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP4-6 data layer compared with 6 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), where higher KRTAP4-6 RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP4-6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and CESC show a favorable association.
UCS, COAD, and STAD are the cancer types where KRTAP4-6 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
