Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP11-1 RNA is linked to patient survival in 21 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRTAP11-1 data layer compared with 8 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where higher KRTAP11-1 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP11-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as STAD and PRAD show a favorable association.
LIHC, READ, and BLCA are the cancer types where KRTAP11-1 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
