Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP11-1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 8 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KRTAP11-1 data layer compared with 21 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KRTAP11-1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRTAP11-1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.

HNSC, ESCA, and CESC are the cancer types where KRTAP11-1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
