Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRTAP10-6 RNA differs between tumor and matched normal tissue in 1 of 18 cancer types tested, making tumor–normal expression one of KRTAP10-6’s most consistent transcriptional readouts.

The strongest signal is observed in liver hepatocellular carcinoma (LIHC), where KRTAP10-6 RNA is more highly expressed in tumor relative to normal tissue. In most cancer types KRTAP10-6 is over-expressed in tumor.

LIHC are the cancer types where KRTAP10-6 tumor–normal differential expression is most reproducible.
