Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT8P52 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT8P52 data layer.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KRT8P52 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT8P52 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and LAML show a favorable association.
COAD, ACC, and KIRC are the cancer types where KRT8P52 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
