Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KRT8P23 RNA is linked to patient survival in 20 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KRT8P23 data layer.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher KRT8P23 RNA is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KRT8P23 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and CESC show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and UVM are the cancer types where KRT8P23 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
