Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KREMEN1 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KREMEN1 data layer compared with 1 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in lung squamous cell carcinoma (LUSC), where higher KREMEN1 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KREMEN1 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
LUSC, STAD, and HNSC are the cancer types where KREMEN1 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
