Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KMT5C mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KMT5C data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KMT5C mass-spec protein is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KMT5C expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
LUAD and GBM are the cancer types where KMT5C mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
