Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLK12 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLK12 data layer compared with 17 for mass-spec protein and 12 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KLK12 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLK12 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as LSCC and HNSC show a favorable association.
LUAD, LSCC, and HNSC are the cancer types where KLK12 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
