Across TCGA patient cohorts, KLHL5 protein abundance is significantly associated with the RNA expression of many other genes, with 3,224 significant associations in total. LSCC shows the largest number of these associations.

The most reproducible KLHL5-associated genes across cancer lineages are MMP28, SPP1, and FRMD6. Each is linked with KLHL5 in more than 2 cancer types. Because this analysis shows association rather than direction, both KLHL5-to-partner and partner-to-KLHL5 results are reported.
