Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLHDC8B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLHDC8B data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KLHDC8B Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLHDC8B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD and LUAD are the cancer types where KLHDC8B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
