Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF9 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF9 data layer compared with 20 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mutation status.

The strongest signal is observed in lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD), where higher KLF9 mass-spec protein is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF9 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as GBM and LSCC show a favorable association.

LUAD, GBM, and LSCC are the cancer types where KLF9 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
