Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF6 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF6 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 2 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in rectum adenocarcinoma (READ), where higher KLF6 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF6 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC show a favorable association.
READ, OV, and STAD are the cancer types where KLF6 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
