Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF3 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF3 data layer compared with 27 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in ovarian serous cystadenocarcinoma (OV), where higher KLF3 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF3 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
OV, BRCA, and COAD are the cancer types where KLF3 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
