Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KLF15 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KLF15 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in thymoma (THYM), where higher KLF15 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KLF15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SKCM and UCEC show a favorable association.
THYM, SCLC, and SKCM are the cancer types where KLF15 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
