Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIF26B Mutation is linked to patient survival in 14 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIF26B data layer compared with 23 for mass-spec protein and 5 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KIF26B Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIF26B expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and SCLC show a favorable association.

UCEC, READ, and SCLC are the cancer types where KIF26B Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
