Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIF15 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIF15 data layer compared with 30 for mass-spec protein and 7 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KIF15 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIF15 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and LSCC show a favorable association.
HNSC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where KIF15 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
