Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIF14 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 5 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIF14 data layer compared with 28 for mass-spec protein and 6 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KIF14 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIF14 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and BLCA show a favorable association.
UCEC, CHOL, and BLCA are the cancer types where KIF14 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
