Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA2013 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 4 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA2013 data layer compared with 25 for mass-spec protein and 4 for mutation status.
The strongest signal is observed in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSC), where higher KIAA2013 mass-spec protein is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA2013 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as HNSC and UCEC show a favorable association.
HNSC, CCRCC, and UCEC are the cancer types where KIAA2013 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
