Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0408 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA0408 data layer compared with 26 for mass-spec protein and 3 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in colon adenocarcinoma (COAD), where higher KIAA0408 Mutation is associated with worse overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0408 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker.
COAD, HNSC, and LGG are the cancer types where KIAA0408 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
