Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0232 Mutation is linked to patient survival in 2 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA0232 data layer compared with 24 for mass-spec protein and 1 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in uterine corpus endometrial carcinoma (UCEC), where higher KIAA0232 Mutation is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0232 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as UCEC and HNSC show a favorable association.
UCEC and HNSC are the cancer types where KIAA0232 Mutation most reproducibly stratifies survival.
