Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0087 RNA is linked to patient survival in 22 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KIAA0087 data layer compared with 3 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in esophageal carcinoma (ESCA), where higher KIAA0087 RNA is associated with better disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0087 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as ESCA and LUAD show a favorable association.

ESCA, THCA, and UVM are the cancer types where KIAA0087 RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
