Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KIAA0087 mass-spec protein is linked to patient survival in 3 of 34 cancer types, making it a survival-associated KIAA0087 data layer compared with 22 for mass-spec protein.
The strongest signal is observed in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), where higher KIAA0087 mass-spec protein is associated with better overall survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KIAA0087 expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as PDAC and LSCC show a favorable association.
PDAC, LSCC, and CCRCC are the cancer types where KIAA0087 mass-spec protein most reproducibly stratifies survival.
