Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KDM3A RNA is linked to patient survival in 27 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KDM3A data layer compared with 10 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in mesothelioma (MESO), where higher KDM3A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KDM3A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as KIRC and LAML show a favorable association.

MESO, KIRC, and ACC are the cancer types where KDM3A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
