Across TCGA pan-cancer cohorts, KDM2A RNA is linked to patient survival in 26 of 34 cancer types, making it the most broadly survival-associated KDM2A data layer compared with 7 for mutation status and 6 for mass-spec protein.

The strongest signal is observed in kidney chromophobe (KICH), where higher KDM2A RNA is associated with worse disease-free survival. In most high-consensus cancer types, elevated KDM2A expression acts as an unfavorable survival marker, although some lineages such as SCLC and KIRC show a favorable association.

KICH, ACC, and SCLC are the cancer types where KDM2A RNA most reproducibly stratifies survival.
